The Mission: D&G is seeking a Logistics Analystto support our contract with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) Technical Support Services (TSS). TSS supports USCG missions through the research, analyses, development, monitoring, sustainment, and distribution of current and accurate engineering technical data in the most efficient and timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support development of new or revisions to existing maintenance procedures for the Medium Range Surveillance HC-27J aircraft.
- Support development of Technical Change Orders for installation or modification to systems.
- Monitor manufacturer service bulletins and work with vendors to identify and track obsolescence issues and vendor supply changes.
- Support revisions to technical documentation as a result of change orders or vendor supply modifications.
- Support supply activities including provisioning, inventory, and PHS&T.
- Implement ALC policies and procedures including: the Aeronautical Engineering Maintenance Management Manual (COMDTINST M13020.1 series), the Aircraft Configuration Control Board Process Guide (CGTO PG-85-00-70-A), the Aeronautical Engineering Maintenance Management Process Guide (CGTO PG-85-00-110-A), the Engineering Specification Procedures (ALCINST 13020.15 series), and the ALC Safety and Occupational Health Program Manual (ALCINST 5100.48 series).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years’ experience in support of aircraft support equipment.
- Experience locating, monitoring, and evaluating OEM technical change directives within aviation maintenance, engineering, and logistics disciplines.
- Experience independently developing and writing technical orders including schematics, drawing and figures.
