Description
SAIC is in need of a Logistics Analystto provide Material Management support to program management, engineering, and warehouse teams. This position will sit in Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Description:
- Performs system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
- Controls the efficient flow of goods, services and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
- May also plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
- Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience; Four (4) years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills:
- Candidates for this position will need excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities and tasks.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and documentation of everything to include importation, extraction, new and all basic functions of documents in excel.
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
