PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the material flow process. Establish and maintain supplier release procedure and supplier banking requirements to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials to meet production requirements.
- Communicates with sub-centers for part order status and ensure delivery dates to customers.
- Establish and monitor finished goods inventory levels to ensure on-time compliance to customer release requirements while minimizing carrying and premium freight costs.
- Review department/plant measurable (customer delivery, supplier delivery, premium freight and inventory) and establish corrective measures for performance adherence.
- Provide leadership to subordinates for individual and group development.
- Overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2 ~ 4 week inventory levels, at a minimum
- Ensure systemic accuracy of inventory
- Rescheduling materials for pull ins (expedites) and push outs (for inventory control)
- Other Duties As Assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business and/or 2 ~ 4 years of factory material managing experiences
- Some occasional business travel required (international and domestic)
- Ability to navigate and teach Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IT Systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
- Flexible work hours and available for weekends
- Bilingual-Korean and English
