We are seeking a highly qualified Logistics Analyst to support our efforts in Hunstville, AL. Qualified individuals will be responsible for providing classified Logistics support for government with in the secure facility. The position will require the candidate to furnish property process through management of lifecycle events. The candidates will provide expertise with logistics applications/systems and programs/data management, and interface with government principals. Specific tasks may include the following.
Responsibilities
Major Job Activities:
• Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution.
• Maintains database(s) of logistics information.
• Will work as an effective team member, to assist in solution development for complex life cycle logistics problems.
• Established procedures and solves routine problems.
• Maintain property management records and metrics.
• Prepare transfer documents.
• Provide accurate accounting, tracking, oversight for moving and storing, and reporting.
• Maintain and update the supply inventories on a quarterly basis; and
• Candidate will effectively implement and ensure that the Government's high standards of performance are met, to include, but not limited to contractual requirements and timely delivery of quality products.
• Candidate must be a self-starter, work independently with minimum supervision. All at 100%
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
All equipment will be provided on site at the government facility.
Working Environment:
The organization is a mixture of Government Civilians and Contractor personnel. Employee's work within a classified facility.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.
Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree or
• Associate degree plus 5 or more years in materiel developer life cycle logistics.
Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP policies and Procedures.
• Experienced dealing with DoD Logistics & Supply processes
Skills & Technology Used:
• Knowledge of engineering principles.
• Ability to make meaningful and constructive contributions during meetings with MDA logistics leaders.
• Ability to analyze statutory and regulatory guidance within an MDS context.
Must have an active Top secret clearance with sci eligibility.
