Job Summary
Candidate will be responsible for verifying, inspecting, documenting and tracking materials utilizing Government tracking systems; Ensuring that the proper government turn-in documents are used, equipment is safeguarded from theft and short-term storage is provided at an on-base government facility. Candidate will ensure any reutilization of equipment will be properly accounted for using the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO).
Telework is not supported. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Will work multiple government customers, vendors and contractors supporting the Test and Integration Facility (TIF). Provide logistics support to platforms prior to integration testing. This includes, receiving Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) into the CMPRO Database and N-ERP, transfer of GFE/CFE to contractor conducting integration and testing via DD149. Storage control of the GFE/CFE to NWIC 4.3 control. The Logistician will be tasked to track GFE equipment per platform and ship/transport GFE per platform via DD-1149 and DD-1348s for material movement and disposal as required in support of facilities. Candidate shall process material Discrepancy Reports (MDR) from initiation through closure including the transfer of equipment from one project to another.
Responsible for keeping the Project Leads and CM Analysts aware of material arrivals, departures and storage status. Keep building 1648 and other specified material warehouse locations in compliance with SPAWARINST 4440.12. Including: Maintaining accurate material inventory in Bldg. 1648 in CMPRO and N-ERP, identifying items for long term storage and conducting periodic inventories of material in the Production Support Area that is in Short Term Storage with the Government Leads (Annual, spot, close out). Will need to be familiar with CM Pro for coordinating the movement of materials between short term storage and lab spaces; issuing CM Pro work orders; issuing Material Request Forms (MRF) and Transportation Movement Requests (TMRs), issuing Material Receiving Reports (MRR).
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics and excellent excel skills. Ability to work and maneuver in several databases.
