Seeking an Assumptions Loan Processor to join our client for an opportunity in Ewing, NJ! As an Assumptions Processor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating initial assumption applications for eligibility based on client and investor guidelines. Your responsibilities will include reviewing assumption requests, preparing and sending new assumption applications, and serving as the first point of contact for all assumption-related inquiries. This Contract opportunity is offering $22-$23/HR!
Responsibilities:
- Review assumption requests for eligibility based on client and investor guidelines.
- Prepare and send new assumption applications to eligible parties.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assumption-related questions, guiding borrowers/applicants through the assumption process and setting expectations for processing, underwriting, and closing timelines.
- Review incoming applications to determine completeness; collaborate with borrowers/applicants to obtain missing documentation.
- Ensure timely processing of incoming applications and documentation to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Assign incoming applications to processors and oversee workflow.
- Collect and organize applications and supporting documentation to create complete borrower/applicant files for handoff to Assumption Processor.
- Enter borrower/applicant and loan information into assumption software (Calyx).
- Assist with client/applicant or internal inquiries related to the assumption process or file status.
- Collaborate on special projects as assigned by Special Products Management.
- Appropriately assess risk and demonstrate a commitment to compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 2 years of related experience within the industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel proficiency a plus).
- Strong commitment to excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Calyx preferred.
