Execute the lending function for the Bank. To follow policies, procedures and objectives for the extending of credit. Maintain the quality and quantity of lending activity.
Duties
- Extend credit as approved under position authority or as approved by the Loan Committee.
- Develop lending prospects under the supervision of the CEO/President/Team Supervisor.
- Follow lending and operational policies which are consistent with overall banking operating objectives and federal and state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and bank policies.
- Prepare special reports and credit analysis as needed.
- Coordinate documentations requesting for existing loans and for renewal of all loans.
- Participate in overall activities of all lending and support staff.
- Assist in loan customer servicing and participate in customer calling efforts by lending staff.
- Recommend new products in the areas of lending and public relations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans.
- Assist supervisor as instructed.
- Other duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATION
Make recommendations to supervisor about possible methods to improve any area of the Bank.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Responsible to the Senior Lender for fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.
- Advise and assist officers and staff in their respective functions associated.
- Have extensive contract with customers, the public and the community, and conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
- Maintain confidentiality of Bank and customer information.
- Participate with community projects as called upon. Relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
