SalaryWe are seeking Licensed Loan Originators with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the mortgage industry, with mentorship and support provided by seasoned professionals.
Compensation:$50,000 - $199,999 at plan yearly
Responsibilities:- Work closely with borrowers, Loan Officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
- Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
- Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large
- Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
- Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction
- Office Suite knowledge and loan originating software such as Calyx, Experian, or LendingWise preferred
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
- Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
- Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies
- Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry
- Office Suite knowledge and loan origination software such as Arive, Encompass, or Blink.
