THE JOB
Live Nation is looking for a Creative Production Director to lead a creative team and elevate concert advertising that resonates with millions of fans and provides the best visibility for our touring and regional artists. Working with Creative and Marketing leads, the Creative Director will guide a team and produce trend setting creative across our social channels, digital campaigns, email, video and audio communication, outdoor display, websites, in venue advertising and more. The ideal creative director should place one foot in the trenches, keep pulse on the latest data driven trends, manage relationships with other teams, drive efficient processes and use their expertise and guidance to make sure the creative team members work together to execute the ideas, exceed expectations and meet deadlines.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Work directly with partner production houses, Tour and Regional Marketing leads to establish a creative tone and approach
  • Lead a Creative Production team consisting of project managers and producers to help deliver premium creative
  • Develop, mentor, and grow your team to help them reach their full potential, offering guidance, feedback and opportunities for skill development
  • Foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among the team members, promoting open communication, teamwork and a positive, engaging atmosphere
  • Oversee production development of creative assets for approximately 200 tours and thousands of events per year
  • Elevate concert advertising strategies to look at creative through the lens of the live experience
  • Maintain relationships and workflows with Creative Production agencies
  • Management of the concert creative process from concept to completion
  • Translate Concerts marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Elevate current creative through partnership with LNE Digital teams, Creative Services, Content Marketing, and PR teams
  • Test new creative concepts and define reporting strategies with analytics team
  • Manage deadlines and production for all US Concerts
  • Oversee production costs, contracts, invoicing and team budgeting
  • Negotiate tour creative costs and manage overall Live Nation rates
  • Define & Illustrate creative operational workflows and systems in partnership with Creative Ops Director for functional creative workflow optimization and review
  • Develop automation and efficiencies through resources and technologies
  • In partnership with Creative Ops director communicates, trains, and rolls out of new processes, and best practices
  • Ensure concerts creative is cataloged, organized and easily deliverable
  • Develop production processes for key artwork, digital advertising, audio and video communications
  • Be in tune with latest advertising trends technologies and production industries processes
  • Assist with artist pitches and proposals
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
  • Monitor team quality control, review work, troubleshoot, and provide feedback to creative team
  • Communicate issues/improvements and solutions, informing department head accordingly
  • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff Cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors, and producers and stoke creativity across the team

Education & Knowledge Desired
  • High level creative direction or marketing experience in live music entertainment or industry related field
  • Previous leadership experience and staffing
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative applications
  • Strong portfolio of previous and current design or directed work
  • Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools
  • Experience with digital asset management systems and workflows

$100,000.00 USD - $125,000.00 USD
