Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionEssential Functions:Strategic Advice and Partnership:Partner with business leaders to develop long term financial plansLead performance diagnostics, budgeting, forecasting and management reportingDevelop and present strategic insights about the business leveraging financial analysisAlign on goals and strategies to broader global initiatives and become a trusted business partnerStandardize Product / Technology investment and M&A Integration Budget management processesFinancial Management:Establish financial measures, communicate, and drive accountability with business and finance team to achieve financial objectivesEnable management by providing timely, accurate information - interpret and present key findings for senior leadershipUnderstand business drivers and recommend actions to further improve results and advance analytical insightsLead annual business plan, quarterly forecasts and analysis across a globally matrixed organizationProject Management:Spearhead ad-hoc projects to improve the overall performance of the team and organization(s)Decision support to senior finance leadership on investment / project decisions as well as strategic organizational and functional developmentsProvide thought leadership and guidance over core processes, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverablesManage and continuously improve finance processes and analysis, including monthly and quarterly performance reporting, and quarterly and annual forecasts/budgetPartner with Finance and Financial Systems teams to simplify revenue reporting and automate financial reportingBusiness Engagement:Integration of finance as a key business partner - understand and support business initiativesTailored, effective presentations, analysis, and engagement with business partnersTimely, meaningful perspectives on the businessPrioritization on hiring and spend to optimize budget, investments and return-on-investment disciplineRobust toolkit to help manage the business and enable management decision makingPeople Management:Attract, recruit, and grow top talent in the Finance organizationMentor and manage a team of high performing finance members by helping to create a center of excellence and instilling best practices across financeInfluence, motivate and collaborate with key business partners and stakeholdersThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10
years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA
/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
•15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with
9+ years of experience
•Experience leading a Financial Planning & Analysis (or similar) team with a
thorough understanding of financial accounting and management reporting,
and achieving results
•Highly analytical background and extensive experience with financial and
operating systems strongly preferred
•Proactive, strategic thinker with strong project management skills
•Superior problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively with
executive management
•Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
•Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
•Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the
operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results
•Client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts and drive outcomes
•High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple, global
stakeholders
•Able to work in a global, matrix-reporting environmentAdditional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.
