WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Complete foreign band withholding packets
- Compile, organize, and prepare band payments
- Reconcile safe
- Complete vendor set ups
- Issue banks to bartenders, retail sellers, box office sellers, and management
- Audit all checkouts
- Assistance with monthly accounting close including but not limited to; account reconciliations, journal entries, show analysis, balance sheet reconciliation
- Create credit card manifests
- Entering manual checks into Oracle
- Reconcile petty cash
- Issue paychecks
- Drop change orders
- Issue change as needed
- Issue Point of Sales supplies as necessary
- Account for all party sheets/trades/gift certificates on a nightly basis
- Prepare Federal Express for central accounting
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting
- Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
- Certain periods in the month (accounting close, period with many shows) may require overtime
Preferred:
- Previous experience with cash handling in a high-volume facility
- Previous Retail, Restaurant or Music Hall Accounting experience
