WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Complete foreign band withholding packets
  • Compile, organize, and prepare band payments
  • Reconcile safe
  • Complete vendor set ups
  • Issue banks to bartenders, retail sellers, box office sellers, and management
  • Audit all checkouts
  • Assistance with monthly accounting close including but not limited to; account reconciliations, journal entries, show analysis, balance sheet reconciliation
  • Create credit card manifests
  • Entering manual checks into Oracle
  • Reconcile petty cash
  • Issue paychecks
  • Drop change orders
  • Issue change as needed
  • Issue Point of Sales supplies as necessary
  • Account for all party sheets/trades/gift certificates on a nightly basis
  • Prepare Federal Express for central accounting

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting
  • Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
  • Certain periods in the month (accounting close, period with many shows) may require overtime

Preferred:
  • Previous experience with cash handling in a high-volume facility
  • Previous Retail, Restaurant or Music Hall Accounting experience
