Your Opportunity

Scion is paving a path in student living and we're seeking a talented Learning Management System (LMS) /Compliance Administrator to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team in executing our vision. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day function of our LMS to ensure accurate data reporting and overall efficiency of the platform for team members across the organization. Additionally, the role is responsible for assigning compliance courses to team members and effectively providing completion status, along with comprehensive updates, to key stakeholders on all regulatory and licensing requirements in accordance with company, state, and federal regulations. The preferred candidate should demonstrate resourcefulness in solving problems, excel in a dynamic work environment, and leverage effective data analysis skills, strong communication abilities, a research-oriented approach, an analytic mindset, and strong organizational capabilities. 

Your Responsibilities
  • Provides daily administration of organization-wide LMS domain accounts including the management of learning activities
  • Acts as the point of contact for any LMS configuration changes that must be made to the system or one of its domains as necessary
  • Manages upgrades and technical releases for the LMS in partnership with vendor and other team members
  • Supports team members to resolve issues pertaining to the technical functionality of the LMS
  • Works closely with other Learning & Development team members, support departments and learning content developers to test, publish, and manage training content
  • Ensures LMS system standards, policies and procedures are implemented and followed
  • Participates in the quality assurance process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all information and data residing in the LMS
  • Troubleshoots and repairs the LMS in partnership with the LMS vendor
  • Tests internal and vendor configuration changes
  • Understands how the LMS interacts with other key systems
  • Responsible for auditing compliance training, monitoring data integrity, editing data and records to ensure accuracy for prepared reports
  • Monitors, documents and reports on quarterly compliance activities
  • Liaise with HR Operations to remain abreast of changing federal, state and local compliance requirements
  • Tracking and responding to complaints.
  • Maintaining records of compliance activities.

What We Require
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Training, or related field
  • 3+ years experience with administration of a Learning Management System
  • E-learning experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of human resources federal, state and local employment laws preferred
  • Knowledge of training programs, policies and practices
  • Must be a strong team player and possess strong communication and influencing skills
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and interact with individuals at varying levels withing the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Documentation, reporting and presentation skills
