Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Director to oversee our food service operations. As the Food Service Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our food service department, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise staff members in food handling, preparation techniques, and customer service
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and sanitation standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to accommodate special requests
- Proficient in menu planning and cost control measures
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus
