Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals

- Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts and agreements

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases

- Maintain and organize legal files and documents

- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings

- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette

- Prepare correspondence and memos

- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a legal assistant in civil litigation or in a similar administrative role

preferred

- Knowledge of law and legal procedures is highly desirable

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Proficient in using computer software for legal research, document management, and data entry

- Familiarity with legal administrative processes and procedures

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
