Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their nationally recognized litigation law firm in their Seattle, WA Office. They are seeking someone who is computer savvy, can handle tasks quickly and efficiently, and has at least 4 years of law firm experience. Some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities Include:
- Preparation, transcription, and/or proofreading of legal documents, correspondences and memoranda
- Filing in the court system
- Scheduling multiple busy calendars and ensuring deadlines are met
- Handling monthly billing and expense reports
- Collecting, processing, and distributing mail
- Managing client relationships and files confidentiality and professionally
- Overseeing office administrator/manager
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Court filing in Seattle
- 4 year minimum of litigation law firm experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills
- TOA/TOC experience is a plus
- Professional and discreet work manner
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
