Litigation Attorney

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Attorney to join our esteemed expanding litigation department. This role is critical to our operations and requires a solid foundation in general legal principles couples with experience in litigation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle litigation matters as part of a team from inception through resolution;
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions and other court documents;
• Manage a caseload of litigation matters, ensuring all deadlines are met;
• Represent clients in court, including conducting trials, hearings and depositions;
• Maintain regular and detailed communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice;
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure the highest quality of legal services.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school/
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• A minimum of three years of litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, legal research and writing skills.
• Proven track record in handling litigation cases from inception through trial.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
