SalarySeeking a skilled lawyer with expertise in contracts and litigation to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of their contracts, including drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, and handling disputes. They will also handle litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
Responsibilities:
Draft and review contracts for employment, partnerships, vendor agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other contracts specific to the client's business.
Negotiate terms and conditions with opposing parties to protect clients' interests.
Provide legal advice to clients on issues related to contracts, including contract disputes, breaches of contract, and termination.
Handle litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
Identify and mitigate potential risks related to business contracts and draft contract provisions that limit liability and protect the clients' interests.
Ensure clients comply with applicable laws and regulations related to their contracts.
Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and judges. Keep clients informed about the progress of their cases.
Must be licensed in the State of Utah
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
