Litigation Associate (Hybrid)

Description:

Litigation associate for small plaintiff's personal injury firm in Seattle with a focus on auto collisions and premises liability cases. Attorney will be involved in drafting legal pleadings, such as complaints, arbitration and trial briefs; trying cases at arbitration and through trial; defending and taking depositions; drafting settlement demand letters and settlement negotiations. We are especially looking for a candidate with demonstrated achievement in academic and clinical arenas, such as law review and moot court. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. So are a positive disposition and congenial social skills given the size of our firm. Must be able to work in high tempo practice with a diversity of clients, many of whom speak English as a second language. Immediate exposure to litigation, including handling a full caseload of cases suitable for resolution at Civil Arbitration, will be available.
