Job Description
A REPUTABLE AND WELL-ESTABLISHED FIRM IN TACOMA is seeking an ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY to join their litigation practice. This firm specializes in representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice and personal injury claims, including catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and abuse/negligence. The firm is known for its aggressive advocacy and its commitment to obtaining the best possible results for its clients.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a strong grasp of the litigation process, including discovery and motions practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct initial client interviews and evaluate potential cases
- Investigate and develop cases, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Conduct discovery, including depositions and interrogatories
- Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in all phases of litigation
- Negotiate settlements and, if necessary, try cases to verdict
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 with lucrative discretionary bonuses. Benefits available with this position include medical and monthly HSA contributions, participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 3% employer contribution and flexible paid vacation, paid sick leave and paid holidays.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in litigation, personal injury or medical malpractice preferred
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of WA
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines
