Role Summary
The Line Service Technicians are responsible for assisting guests with travel needs at Stellar Aviation and helping JSX airlines with their services. As a Line Service Technician, the job duties will require you to respond to guest inquiries, performs various tasks in fueling aircrafts, direct aircraft traffic on ramp, assist with luggage, clean and fuel crew cars, drive equipment on field, walking and standing for long periods of time, updating logs and fuel chits, and must have great listening skills.
Key Duties
- Assist aircrafts on ramp, fueling, and help with other services in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete paperwork tasks.
- Basic mathematic skills
- May be assigned to perform duties of varying capacities to ensure complete guest satisfaction
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
- A valid state driver's license
- Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push/pull 50 lbs.
- Must be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, stretching, bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, grasping, and climbing.
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, listening).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (e.g., weekends, holidays).
- Must be able to learn and operate equipment.
- Must be able to work in all different kinds of weather.
- Ability to adapt to performing work according to set procedures.
- Ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
Important update for non-crew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. Starting Rate
USD $17.00/Hr. - $19.50/Hr.
