Small, successful, A2LA Accredited high-tech calibration company in the Portland, Oregon area is expanding and looking for Field Service calibration technicians to add to our team. We are looking for someone to service the Las Vegas area and surrounding locations.
Responsibilities include technical troubleshooting, calibration and repair of asphalt, soil and concrete laboratory testing equipment. On the job training will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Calibration of test equipment
· Equipment repair and assembly
· In-house calibration and service work when scheduled at Ad-Tek’s shop
· Calling each scheduled customer the week prior to a service trip to ensure accurate timing, details, and other information
· Proper maintenance of company equipment and company vehicle
· Promoting Ad-Tek as a total sales and service company with A2LA accreditation
Requirements:
· Electrical, mechanical aptitude
· Ability to properly record and submit technical data as required, expense reports, etc.
· Current, valid driver’s license with good driving record. Must be age 25+ to be covered under company's automobile insurance
· Ability to, periodically, handle long driving/travel times
· Good command of English and grammar
This job requires a vast amount of travel so applicant must be willing to be out on the road for weeks at a time alternating with time at the shop in Boring, OR while in training.
Competitive pay paid bi-weekly and performance bonuses. Pay increased upon successful completion of paid training. All travel including drive time, lodging, and meals are covered.
It is important that the Field Service Technician presents themselves in appearance, attitude and ability as a true professional at all times. They must also have the ability to handle lifting, on occasion, weights up to 90 lbs.ChatGPTChatGPT

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated aptitude in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in recording and submitting technical data, expense reports, etc.
  • Possession of a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Applicants must be 25 years or older to be covered under the company's automobile insurance.
  • Ability to handle occasional long driving/travel times.
  • Strong command of English language and grammar.

This role involves extensive travel, requiring candidates to be willing to spend weeks at a time on the road, alternating with time at the shop in Boring, OR during training.

We offer competitive bi-weekly pay and performance bonuses, with pay increases upon successful completion of training. All travel expenses, including drive time, lodging, and meals, are covered by the company.

Field Service Technicians must consistently present themselves as consummate professionals in appearance, attitude, and performance. They should also be capable of occasional lifting of weights up to 100 lbs.
