We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at Kenny's Grill & Ice Cream. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. ```Responsibilities:```
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food handling, safety, and hygiene

```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
