We are looking for experienced cooks or motivated quick learners. Must be able to work in fast paced environment. Cooks will prepare dishes to our quality and presentation standards. Cooks perform cooking, prepping and cleaning tasks. Cooks will follow food safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations with all needed products
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food on various equipment
- Check food while cooking
- Ensure proper presentation before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check temperature of food items
Skills
- Must have good organizational and memory skills.
- Experience in using cutting tools
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Very good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
