Lihtc Financial Analysis

Our nonprofit housing development company is seeking a Financial Modeling and LIHTC Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing pro forma work and consulting, preferbaly with Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) issues. In addition, someone who has a deep understanding of Financial Analysis and underwriting of the Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) Program is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain financial models for development projects
- Provide pro forma work and consult on FHFC issues
- Conduct Financial Analysis and underwriting of LIHTC Program
- Collaborate with development team to ensure financial feasibility of projects
- Participate in financing applications and loan closings
- Provide training and support to staff on financial modeling and LIHTC Program
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial modeling and LIHTC Program
- Strong understanding of FHFC policies and procedures
- Experience in underwriting and Financial Analysis of LIHTC Program
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
