The Lifestyle Engagement Director is accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Activities program for their assigned community. The position provides leadership to the Lifestyle Engagement team in order to provide activities and lifestyle enriching events for our residents in accordance with the Presbyterian SeniorCare Network policies and applicable laws. Supervisory functions include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.

What we are looking for:

We need a Lifestyle Engagement Director who will lead our Activities Team in supporting the daily living needs of our residents and in developing trusting, caring relationships. Our Lifestyle Engagement Directors are required to:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited college or university;
• Be a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or be able to complete certification within 1 year of hire;
• Have experience with person-centered care and dementia care;
• Effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members;
• Have working knowledge of Internet Software, Spreadsheet Software, and Word Processing Software, as well as an interest in and the ability to learn new technologies.
