Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Therapist
Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team Therapist Position Summary:
The position is part of an interdisciplinary team that provides quality evidenced based practices to clients living in the community struggling with behavioral health issues. This is a full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality treatment using ACT evidenced bases practices.
- Complete all regulatory documentation for client treatment.
- Plan and carry out individual and group therapy relative to the client’s needs.
- Responsible for coordinating treatment and stabilization with identified natural supports and with community service providers.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Current Licensed Mental Health Professional. Must possess a Maryland license of LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
- Highly developed organizational and communication skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid.
- Full valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
- Privileged to carry out all duties, including client treatment coordination.
