Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Licensed Home Inspector to join our team. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues. Your expertise in quality control and construction inspection will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of homes.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive inspections of residential properties, including interior and exterior components, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and structural elements.
- Utilize your knowledge of construction techniques and building codes to assess the quality of workmanship and identify any deviations or deficiencies.
- Conduct inspections based on client requests or as part of pre-purchase or pre-listing inspections.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to measure and evaluate various aspects of the property, such as moisture levels, air quality, and energy efficiency.
- Collect accurate data during inspections, including detailed notes, photographs, and measurements.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining your findings, including any defects or areas that require attention.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection results and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as contractors or engineers, when necessary to address complex issues or provide expert advice.

- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
- Proficiency in construction inspection techniques and the ability to identify potential issues or hazards.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics to understand the layout and design of residential properties.
