We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. Duties: Bartending and being the face of the bar. Setting example by working hard and getting to know all of the coustomer by name. They will want to see you more than the owner of the bar that does know everyones name and what they drink. Able to make a schedule for staff, cut staff and act as if it was your own bar. - Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels
- Create and implement effective strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to provide excellent customer service
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Oversee the preparation of beverages and ensure consistent quality
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Monitor and control costs to meet budgetary guidelines
- Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing initiatives and promotions
Skills:
- Strong cash handling skills to manage cash register transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Bartending experience with knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Proficient in math calculations for inventory management and financial analysis
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Sales abilities to upsell products and increase revenue
- Experience in catering events and managing large groups is a plus
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is preferred
- Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices
