Job description

Locations: Toledo, Ohio, & Bowling Green, Ohio

Yearly pay: $52-$68,000 depending on experience, and hours worked

Health Insurance: for full-time employees after the first 30 days, with 2 plans to choose from: an HMO, and a premium plan with low yearly deductible

Full-time status: 26 clients per week

If you are searching for a fulfilling career as a therapist in group private practice- on a supportive and growing team, then The Willow Center is interested in speaking with you. We are currently seeking like-minded therapists: Counselors and Social Workers who value the well-being of their clients, as well as rich opportunities for professional growth and personal fulfillment. We have been awarded “Toledo's Best Counseling Practice” award the last 7 years, and are proud to serve thousands of NW Ohioans each month. Every day we add to our wait list, or have to turn away potential clients because we just don’t have enough openings for therapy. We are seeking to remedy that situation. At The Willow Center, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional clinical care to our therapy clients & psychiatry patients, while fostering a warm, connected, and family-friendly work environment for our therapists. We aim to provide the highest level of therapeutic care to our clients , and to nurture a positive work environment built on support, collaboration, and transparent communication.

Job Duties:

Assess, diagnose and provide psychotherapy to Willow Center clients

Assist clients in processing their experiences, emotions, and thoughts

Help clients identify situations, behaviors, and thoughts that interfere with their wellness and recovery

Work with clients to set goals, develop a treatment plan, and gain insight through treatment

Create and maintain adequate clinical notes of treatment sessions

A full-service support staff: with HR, a social media specialist & marketing team, in-house medical billing services, psychiatry services, a credentialing department, a ketamine clinic, an accountant and legal team

Employment/ A job: As opposed to being a gig worker just picking up some client work,, you are not a contractor, you actually have employment with our practice. We will cover half of your employment taxes. This arrangement is nearly unheard of in private practice work. This also means we cover your liability insurance, provide legal protection, trainings & supervision

Biweekly paychecks: you can count on being paid for the last two weeks’ of services you provided (as opposed to waiting weeks- or months- for insurance reimbursements to pay out)

The option of two different health insurance plans for full-time employees (26+ client hours/week)

Our Residents’ Training Program for limited license clinicians (allowing you to improve your skills and increase your competency as a clinician through education and mentoring)
