We are looking for a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LISW) in Akron/Fairlawn, Ohio. This position is full-time with Hybrid work opportunities.

 

Our Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LISW) provides small group and one-on-one counseling to clients, schools, and families in need of additional support using evidence-based behavioral and cognitive behavioral treatments as well as providing navigational support.

SALARY RANGE: $22.00-$32.50 an hour

*Salary range is contingent upon relatable experience, credentialing/certification, education, and use of a second language in your role (50% of the time).

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LISW) at TES, you will:

  • diagnose children and adolescents with common childhood clinical disorders
  • work with children with exceptional needs and their families.
  • develop developmentally appropriate treatment plan, using behavioral and cognitive behavioral strategies to assist clients, that may include psychotherapy or other services.
  • provide individual and group counseling to help clients with a variety of issues such as stress, poor social skills, inattention/hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, relationships, and parental stress.
  • maintain good working relationships with support networks, government resources, and community resources.
  • consistently and appropriately communicate other treatment providers and other relevant referral sources related to client’s with appropriate consent.
  • train in telehealth practices and platform.
  • train in Autism Family Navigation Services.

 

You will need the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Clinical Psychologist, or School Psychologist licensed through the State Board of Psychology.
  • Clinical experience in a setting with children and families
  • Be a good communicator
  • Have strong organizational and technology skills
  • Have auto insurance liability coverage which meets the minimum for work-related travel (25/50k liability coverage)
  • Clear a current background check through the BCI/FBI

 

Preferred qualifications include:

  • the ability to work some evenings
  • working knowledge of insurance billing
  • previous experience working with children with exceptional needs
  • training in behavioral interventions and evidence-based services
  • demonstrating and interest in furthering professional development and training experience with individuals and/or families with exceptional needs

 

Environment & Physical Qualifications: Assigned work environments vary from site to site and may require services to be provided in a distance learning / therapy model. The work environment is usually comprised of several adults and children in a classroom, clinic, or campus facility with supervisors traveling to multiple sites/clinics. Due to varied work environments, an employee may encounter noise levels that are moderate to loud. In addition, the job functions could include the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
