Provide therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families. In addition to psychotherapy, professional services might include parent training for supporting children/adolescents with social/emotional concerns and management of challenging behaviors and supporting children in the development of social skills. Maintenance of records in an ethically appropriate manner using practice software. Case consultation and collaboration with other providers within the practice. Follow up with outside providers for continuity of care. Represent the practice in a professional fashion. Maintain confidentiality appropriately.

Responsibilities- Ensures accuracy, security, and availability of information.
- Observes each patient's behavioral conditions throughout the counseling processes.
- Provides observation summaries for each patient.
- Debriefs patients/ families as needed and as appropriate.
- This role requires maintenance of records in an ethically appropriate and timely manner using practice software.
- You should always ensure you are representing the practice in a professional fashion and maintaining confidentiality appropriately.
- Individuals with experience as part of a multi-disciplinary practice team are preferred, along with interest in growing in hours and responsibilities as caseload grows.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols. This role acts as a mandated reporter.
- Maintains clean work area, clean treatment rooms and requests needed supplies.
- Maintains professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with co-workers and other professionals as it relates to collaboration of care for the patient.
- Keeps regular clinic hours as approved by Manager.
- Directs all patient scheduling matters through the front desk coordinator.
- Attends meetings as requested and performs other duties as assigned.
- Must be licensed as a mental health provider in the corresponding state (or eligible for licensure and have already applied)
- Current CPR certification
- Efficient problem-solving skills
