Clinical Social Worker

Georgie's Helping Hand is a Group Home setting providing therapeutic care for adolescents aged 10 years old to 17 years old.

Georgie's Helping Hand is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to serve as a core member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. As a clinical practitioner, the Social Worker independently exercises clinical judgment and uses theory to formulate a psychosocial assessment, treatment modality, and discharge plans. Treatment interventions include individual and family therapies to identify deficits and remedies in complex cases such as depression, abuse, mania, aggression, noncompliance, personality disorders, dual diagnosis, violence, and substance abuse. The Social Worker's use of a holistic approach ensures patient and family's input into planning and treatment. The Social Worker coordinates and develops treatment plans through an integrated approach with the team, patient, system, and community agencies. In this role, work is performed with considerable independence, but also requires teamwork and collaboration.

Master s degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work. Licensure is required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board. Candidate must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.

The position is part-time and allows for flexibility.
