Job Opportunity: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Clinical Evaluation and Treatment:
- Apply social work procedures and techniques in the evaluation and treatment of adult psychological/psychiatric disorders.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, including couples therapy.
- Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts as required.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and current records in both Mental Health and patient medical records.
- Produce reports of evaluation and treatment as required.
- Psychosocial Evaluations:
- Evaluate adults (age 18-60) through psychosocial assessments for emotional behavior problems, occupational problems, attention problems, and various mental health disorders.
- Apply therapeutic procedures and techniques, including behavioral assessment and evidenced-based therapies.
- Treatment Modalities:
- Implement treatment modalities for individuals, families, and groups experiencing psychiatric, medical, and social problems.
- Provide varied levels of intervention, including individual and group therapy.
- Consultation and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other hospital services, medical case management, and flight medicine.
- Provide consultation and feedback to commanders regarding treatment results.
- Collaborate with professionals to deliver social work services and interventions within the psychosocial environment.
- Training and Research:
- Attend and provide didactic seminars in consultation-liaison and psychotherapeutic approaches to adult psychopathology.
- Conduct workshops with hospital staff and other personnel on the theory and practice of working with the adult population.
- Participate in and/or direct research and clinical investigations in social work and adult psychology.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited school of social work.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of Clinical Social work experience within the past five years, specifically in a mental health setting with adults.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
- Certification: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Staffing and Scheduling:
- Monday through Friday between the hours of 0730 and 1630.
