Project Specialist (Library, metadata/data entry) - Temporary

This is a temporary position, estimated duration of the project: 12-15 months

Where: Onsite at customer location - Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Rate: $25.00 per hour - because this is a temporary position no benefits will be offered and there is no paid time off

Onboarding process : Prior to starting, all applicants must complete a background check and

drug screening

The temporary Project Specialist supports execution for a customer project in Atlanta, Georgia for a period of 12-15 months. This role is ideal for someone with archival services experience and/or cataloging/metadata experience. We’re seeking someone who is comfortable communicating often and effectively with the Project Lead and has the ability to maintain a positive culture in the work environment. This is an exciting and unique role that supports

emerging business areas and new forms of project revenue for Iron Mountain.

Duties :

● Working with the customer’s archival object collection

● Delicate handling and cleaning of such archival objects. Training will be provided

● Catalog and/or create metadata at the item level for objects per customer’s

specifications into a database

Requirements:

● A performance mindset in order to achieve daily production goals

● Read/write English

● Attention to detail

● Ability to see small print

● Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hrs daily

● Ability to bend/squat

● Ability to follow directions explicitly

● Ability to work independently and in team environment

Experience strongly preferred:

● Library services experience

● Archival experience

● Cataloging/metadata experience
