Quest is looking for motivated individuals to join our Corporate Legal Department and add value to Quest while learning about its culture and business. This is a 10-12 week summer internship program based out of our Secaucus, NJ headquarters. Interns will be expected to adhere to Quest Diagnostics' Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in the office).
ResponsibilitiesThroughout the internship you will:
- Work on a wide range of legal projects, supporting various subject areas supported by the legal department
- Perform relevant legal research and analyses as required for the projects
- Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested
- Gain exposure to senior management through legal department calls, networking events, meetings and presentations, as applicable
- Current Law student enrolled as a 1L or 2L at a US law school
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Innovative thinker comfortable with ambiguity to complete tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Strong PC skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience and/or demonstrated interest in healthcare industry is a plus
