Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Litigation/Discovery Clerk. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in litigation and discovery processes, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting attorneys with all aspects of litigation and discovery, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Communicating with clients, insurance representatives, and opposing counsel
• Assisting with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and coordinating with expert witnesses
• Calendaring due dates (will be trained on this)
• Performing other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of litigation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
