Job Details
Executive Assistant / Legal Administrative Assistant Position. Seeking highly motivated, professional, energetic, goal-oriented person with great initiative who is capable of working independently in the office when necessary. Expanding, fast paced law firm is looking for a multi-tasking Executive Assistant / Legal Administrative Assistant. Applicant should possess excellent communication skills and a strong desire to grow with us. Prior law office experience required and prior transactional law experience required. We are looking for a team player, someone with organization, versatility and excellent interpersonal skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare correspondence and other documents;
· Answer inbound calls and respond to inbound emails;
· Maintain calendar and schedule, including managing phone calls and meetings;
· Make outbound calls, and send emails, on behalf of the firm’s employees;
· Draft letters, memos, correspondence and legal documents for attorney review and/or filing;
· Prepare and edit documents and legal forms;
· Work well with all of the Company’s employees and pitch in when other administrative assistants are on vacation or are busy;
· General office duties to include, but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, answering phones;
· Upholding and maintaining good employee, and customer, relations and a positive team atmosphere; and
· Must have good written and verbal skills, good attention to detail, strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior law firm experience required; Experience with Transactional law (no litigation, no bankruptcy), mostly corporate tax trust and estates
MS Word Proficient and MS Excel Skills;
Exceptional customer service skills;
Maintain a high degree of professionalism;
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment;
Excellent organizational skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Talent for building relationships;
Ability to multi-task.
