Responsibilities:
- Identify and discuss legal issues with attorneys and staff.
- Learn about the history of a business, its operations, and its products or services.
- Prepare articles of incorporation and other legal documents such as partnership agreements and patent applications.
- Prepare and file legal documents such as summonses, subpoenas, motions, briefs, contracts, and sales of real property.
- Review client agreements to ensure legal compliance.
- Answer questions from clients about their cases.
- Advise clients about the status of their cases and any required actions for them to comply with the law.
- Coordinate the efforts of outside contractors with the attorney's office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
