SalaryLegal Assistant Needed:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Legal Assistant to join our legal team. In this position, you will work alongside our attorneys for a Consumer Protection Law Firm located in East Boca Raton, Florida. We are looking to hire for a full-time position. The hours are 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer benefits. The pay starts at $18 an hour.
Legal Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for general administrative tasks, such as:
· Answering phone calls & taking messages,
· Responding to emails,
· Retrieve documents from our clients and get them uploaded to the file,
· Keep clients informed on what’s going on with their file,
· Maintain and organize files
· Update files with case status and information.
Legal Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:
· Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology
· Proficient with Microsoft Office
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a law firm and is proficient with Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.78 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
