Title: Legal Assistant
Location: Tampa, FL 33607 – Hybrid (Personnel work remotely Monday, Thursday, and Friday and are in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday)
Pay Rate: $27/hour.
Type: 3 - 4 Months
Schedule: M - F 8 am – 5 pm
Essential Functions:
· Provide administrative support to the attorneys, including processing mail, making copies, scanning documents and screening telephone calls.
· File and serve pleadings.
· Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations.
· Coordinate service of process and the publication of legal notices
· Organize and maintain electronic files.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used:
· Proficient in Adobe Pro and MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
· Must be detail oriented and able to work independently.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
Range of Experience:
· Five years of related experience
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
