Position Summary: Our client, a busy law firm named as one of the "Nation's Best Law Firms" listed by US News and Best Lawyers is looking to add an additional Legal Administrative Assistant to their team to support Family Law and Personal Injury department. The Legal Assistant will help in managing caseloads, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of family law and personal injury practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing, maintaining, and opening/closing of case files
- Perform conflict checks and draft engagement letters for approval
- Communicate with new clients, existing clients, and opposing counsel
- Calendar court dates, deadlines, and appointments
- Prepare exhbit, trial notebooks, and evidence for trial
- Communicate with new clients, existing clients, and opposing counsel
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
Key Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting attorneys
- Exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and various legal software
Additional Information:
- Location: Manchester, NH (100% onsite)
- Type: Direct-Hire offering comprehensive benefits package
- Pay: $24 - $28 /hourly
