LOA Specialist - Remote Consultant

The Leave of Absence Specialist (LOA) provides support for ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions' client, Intuit. In this role, you join a high-energy and collaborative team that provides end-to-end support to Intuit's global workforce for all of their LOA needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provides best-in-class guidance and support to employees and managers on cases that require subject matter expertise
- Acts as an escalation point for absence management inquiries for internal and external partners
- Serves as an expert on Americas' Leave of Absence, vendor processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic enhancements
- Conducts ongoing audits to ensure that leave programs are aligned with payroll and other partner expectations
- Collaborates closely with our key partners on the end-to-end design and launch of new and improved employee experiences across Leave of Absence with frequent consultation with the team manager and senior members of the Benefits delivery team for support
- Leverages and audits key data and insights to identify and influence opportunities for improvement in employee experiences prioritized in the appropriate governing body
- Focuses on managing robust and compliant absence management processes in partnership with our program administrators, and in alignment with payroll operations
- Establishes cross-functional relationships to serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator with key partners
- Partners with payroll and technical teams to ensure the accuracy of employee pay, data, and functionality of electronic data interfaces with partner vendors
- Consistently applies to intuit policies and standards to situations
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Nice to have: Associate or Bachelor's Degree
Skills:
- 4 years of experience with HRIS Systems. Experience with WorkDay is preferred
- 4+ years of Absence Management or relevant experience
- Claims Management experience is preferred
- Partner experience with payroll & Legal departments a plus
- extensive knowledge of leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, ADAAA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws
- Strong cross-functional influencing and communication skills (written, verbal and visual)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Operational excellence, including end-to-end process and workflow management

Salary: $35/hr.
