Leasing Consultant

Magellan Property Management is seeking an energetic and driven Leasing Consultant for Sienna at the Thompson, a 314-unit, luxury, high-rise apartment building located at 5th and Brazos in the heart of downtown Austin. This mixed-use project also features the Thompson and Tommie hotel brands

Responsibilities include:

• Tour prospects through properties, presenting benefits, and features
• Utilize closing techniques to meet property occupancy goals
• Maintain prospect data and execute follow up requirements
• Apply sales skills to convert phone or email leads to leases
• Administer application materials and lease paperwork
• Ensure leasing path and general curb appeal of property meets MPM standards
• Provide superior customer service to prospects and residents
• Weekends required, Saturday and Sunday with 2 days off during the week. The hours are weekdays 9-6, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 1-5.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Excellent sales skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills both written and verbal, formal, and informal
• 1+ years industry leasing experience
• Superior customer service and multi-tasking skills
• Awareness and knowledge of industry specific software programs such as YieldStar, Yardi, BlueMoon, etc.
• General computer and software skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
