The Specialist, Learning Quality Assurance, will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of quality, inclusivity, and compliance in all learning content created by the J&J Learn Global Service Center (GSC) Learning Design & Development (LDD) team. They will have excellent English language skills with experience in copy-editing, proofreading, and test script writing and execution. They will be collaborative, organized, and adaptive to learning new QA strategies, tools, methodologies, and technologies. The Specialist will work in an agile, iterative fashion, flexing between collaborative team time and focused self-directed project time. They will be comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment as needed and assigned by leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality reviews on all digital and print learning products, including editing, usability, performance, accessibility, and compatibility testing.
- Track and report identified bugs or findings and manage change requests to ensure adjustments are made to achieve desired results.
- Advise learning designers and developers of trends found in learner feedback and suggest opportunities for improvement during project standups and quality reviews.
- Build positive relationships within the JJL GSC organization to promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork to deliver outstanding learning services.
- Monitor and maintain satisfactory performance by adhering to all QA Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead and contribute to special projects as directed by leadership.
- Uphold and exemplify J&J best practices, policies, and Credo-based culture.
- Bachelor's Degree
- A minimum of two (2) years of learning design, development, or quality experience in a complex matrixed environment.
- Strong English language skills, including proofreading and copy-editing.
- Proven project and change management skills with proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Effective in a fast-paced, self-directed, team-based environment.
- Committed team player focused on creating a positive work environment.
- Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
- Ability to travel up to 10% in alignment with business needs and company policies.
- Knowledge of WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and other accessibility standards and regulations and experience with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, speech recognition software, etc.).
- Experience working with regional or global teams.
- Strong proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies.
- Experience in testing eLearning courses across multiple platforms, browsers, and mobile devices for usability, performance, accessibility, and compatibility.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Planner, and authoring tools like Articulate 360.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $61,000- $97,750. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
