ARCO has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated Learning & Development Project Specialist to join our team. The L&D Project Specialist will be responsible for the tactical development, implementation, execution, and coordination of development programs and learning initiatives. You will work with the Program Manager to ensure quality learning experiences and initiatives in offices across the country. This role involves collaborating closely with HR and L&D leaders, the operations team, and other cross-functional teams.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Manage learning projects so they are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Coordinate training events, including communication, lodging and transportation logistics, agendas, third party vendors, and feedback surveys
- Establish and maintain learning solutions in the learning management system (Bridge) and Intranet
- Partner with the L&D team to manage local and out-of-town training events
- Manage and maintain the organization’s L&D Event Calendar
- Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting to replicate processes and institute process improvement
- Manage, organize, and maintain learning content (e.g. recordings, correspondences, planning documentation, course content, etc.), collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is up-to-date, and ensure accessibility and permissions are set correctly
- Support content development, content design, and facilitate course offerings when needed
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in adult learning, organizational development, organizational behavior, education or related field
- 3-5 years in Learning & Development, organization development, education or other related field
- Excellent analytical skills: strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills is a must
- Familiarity with tools and practices for project management, stakeholder management and results tracking
- Experience with sourcing, vetting and managing vendors
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable and solutions-oriented in the face of problems
- Passion for earning, improving, and sharing best practices
- Proactive team member with excellent attention to detail and follow through; Strong sense of urgency to drive results.
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and push back on stakeholders when necessary
- Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred
- Experience with public speaking or facilitation preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
