A DAY IN THE LIFE Manage, lead, and oversee all team activities including production documents, client management, internal team management, and project financials Increase overall effectiveness of the team by developing staff, aligning individual team member strengths with appropriate project tasks, and identifying potential obstacles (both internal and external) Negotiates strong contracts and clearly defines project scope within proposal Makes critical decisions to ensure projects maintain schedule and scope Consistently reinforces the CAGE Brand Promises and drives all aspects of projects to provide superior customer service Delegates project tasks to team members in a timely fashion and provides clear direction on tasks, expectations on deliverables, and establishes clear deadlines with team member affirmation NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS BS in Engineering from an accredited university 7+ years of experience Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred, but not required Must have a proven record of success as a project engineer and possess a strong technical background Strong relationships with existing clients and internal staff members Proficient in project design & coordination Effectively delegates tasks (production and administrative) to allow for an increased focus on management tasks Possess strong communication skills, critical thinking skills, and demonstrate a problem-solving mentality Continuously delivers a profitable project with little to no assistance from other managers or superiors Effective client manager; leads projects with intent to generate a repeat client in every instance MAKE YOUR MOVEAt CAGE, we are problem solvers, we're cost-conscious designers and value engineers.
