Intern, Solar Project Development

What You Can Expect
As our Project Development-Solar Intern, in Chicago, IL, you will learn how to support site origination and development for distributed solar and solar + Storage projects for ENGIE by creating sustainable data work flows to align with broader ENGIE ecosystem. Every day you will assist with communication on invoicing for all developmental activities with the procurement team and assist in creating a more thorough budget tracking system. In this role you will learn how to support the developmental team with all activities in early, mid and late stages for projects that are being acquired. You will assist in prepare for presentations for project/market reviews on the Global level.
What You'll Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering
• You enjoy collaborating with several groups on projects, not afraid to ask questions
• You feel confident in using Microsoft Excel such as, v-lookups, dashboards, pivot tables, and VBA
• You enjoy creating efficient systems for spending on projects
• Understand the basic concepts of Finance, managing cost workflows, track budgets
• You feel confident in presenting in front of large groups and communicating with 3rd party vendors

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
• Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
• Could involve some lifting / up to 30 lbs

Compensation
Salary Range: $21.00-$34.00 USD, hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
