How You'll Contribute
As a member of our DME Operations Team, you will be the voice of the company as you interact with our customers and vendor partners. As a fulfillment specialist you will be responsible for the logistics and oversight of DME orders once they are placed. This role is responsible for working with vendors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
As a Lead Specialist, you will have the opportunity to mentor and coach specialists within the department, represent the department on process improvement projects and provide coverage for managers as needed. This role does not have direct reports but would be seen as a potential successor for future management positions.
- Act as a liaison with downstream DME vendors to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
- Coordinate delivery times/dates with vendor and end user
- Assist with delivery changes/reroutes to another supplier
- Engage in inventory availability connections with vendor/supplier
- Manage vendor fulfillment selection for all orders and ensures seamless order delivery
- Partner with Training & Quality Specialists to mentor and coach specialists within the department
- Assist leadership with driving department KPI goals and readily identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Assist others in a Subject Matter Expert capacity within the team.
- Assist leadership, and compliance team, with any escalated patient/member issues, concerns & complaints
- Monitor volume of orders, requests and follow up tasks for to ensure appropriate workload is balanced across the team
- Represent the fulfillment team on departmental and cross-functional projects related to improved customer experience, fulfillment department effectiveness, and elevating the overall employee experience at Synapse Health.
- Provide team management coverage as needed (interim basis, this role does not have direct reports).
- Conduct Daily Quick Huddles (DQH) as needed to discuss important updates, any specific call out for follow up needed, change in workload due to volume and/or staffing challenges and answer any questions the team may have regarding order processing to address areas of concern and/or need
