POSITION SUMMARY: The Leadership Development Facilitator is self-motivated and has a passion for delivering exceptional learning and development experiences. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to balance multiple projects and related tasks at one time. The candidate should be able to effectively facilitate training using a variety of media and platforms to include instructor-led classroom training, face-to-face workshops, and video/distance learning programs.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as an ambassador of the Republic Way and has a passion for creating exceptional Leadership Development experiences.
- Manages and facilitates instructor-led leadership programs for leaders at all levels of the organization through a variety of different platforms.
- Leverages leader development inventory for content and serves as liaison with area leadership team to understand new, priority development needs.
- Escalates new content needs to central team for prioritization and content creation; serves as SME on leader development content with the Learning team when new courses are created.
- Provides Learning team with ongoing feedback on content to ensure continuous improvement.
- Supports ongoing course evaluation and feedback processes that help ensure ongoing effectiveness of offerings.
- Supports area leadership requests for facilitated team sessions (of leaders).
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends, concepts, and techniques for delivering high quality developmental experiences to diverse audiences.
- Travels by air, car or other modes of transportation (up to 50% of the time) to deliver leader development sessions.
- Coordinates with HR team to schedule sessions and manage enrollment; serves as liaison with local on-site contact for logistics to support in-person sessions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to connect with and influence leaders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences.
Strong understanding of leadership theories, models, and best practices in Leadership Development.
High degree of organization and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Superior ability to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.
Self-motivated and highly organized.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
8 years of progressive experience in learning and/or Leadership Development, including facilitating learning in classroom and/or blended environments or equivalent level of industry experience.
