The role of the Material Service Technical Group Lead is to lead the supply chain process, new model, systems, and innovation team through analysis, problem solving, execution and maintenance based on the requirements of daily production and new model while minimizing impact to overall supply chain to meet or exceed set targets.
- Lead supply chain process, new model, systems, and innovation management through analysis, problem solving, execution and maintenance based on the requirements of daily production and new model while minimizing impact to overall supply chain to achieve or exceed targets. Maintain process design within systems required to support production and validate department readiness to assure manufacturing achievement. Demonstrates application of advanced theory across multiple disciplines, develops tools and methods for analysis based on one’s expertise. Makes sound judgement by assessing input versus output while considering overall company impact. - Manage project related activity. Clearly assign responsibility for tasks and decisions; sets clear objectives and measures; monitors progress and results; provides feedback to others. Effectively delegates responsibilities while providing support and structure to ensure project strategy and activity is completed in a comprehensive and timely manner for project success, including capturing successes and failures into future models.
- Obtains information and identifies key issues and relationships relevant to a long-range goal or vision; commits to a course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision after developing alternatives based on logical assumptions, facts available resources, constraints, and organizational values. Applies expertise to generate themes to improve characteristics. Develop and maintain professional communication networks with other facilities to share best practice, reduce duplicate workload, and collaboration activity.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in project management role/engineering experience
Required Education:
- Industrial Engineering Degree or other relevant project management experience
- Evaluate design and standards used for current and future planning.
- Evaluate budget and explain gaps in plan versus actual
- Business Plan
- Monitor/Support/Redirect project related activity to meet company objectives
- Open office environment.
- Overtime hours required based on manufacturing schedule/build out/NM Launch
- Alternate shift times may be required based on business need to support manufacturing
